RAW Products is one of our newly added customers in early 2024, the GIR team was awarded a project to improve operational efficiencies and customer experience by automating business processes which involved creating invoices and emails for the customers of RAW Products.

Our primary goal was to automate the invoicing process for RAW Products to speed up the operations. This will enable the company to utilize its dedicated resources in the best possible ways. To solve this challenge effectively, the GIR team developed a tailored script to automate order creation. The script was thoroughly tested before integrating it into the company’s production environment. We successfully minimized the time it took to create invoices by using automation and by building on what they already had in place. A lot of time was saved for RAW Products to work better and faster.

The order fulfillment process for Raw Products was manual and used to take up an entire day before automation. Once an order was ready for fulfillment, an employee would have to create the order fulfillment details, generate an invoice, and send out the invoice email. After that, they would have to wait to ship the order until the customer submits the payment. Each order could take up to a day to complete because every step had to be completed individually.
After automation, the process has become much more efficient. Once an order is ready for fulfillment, the system automatically creates the order details and consolidates all the day’s fulfillments together at the close of business. The invoice is then automatically generated and the invoice email is sent out to the customer. The payment processing is also automated, so as soon as the customer submits their payment, the order can be shipped right away. This entire automated process can now be completed in just a few hours per order which saves a significant amount of time and effort.
